2008 thank yous!
2008 has been an incredible year for me personally and everyone else here at Chasing Safety. We have accomplished things that we never thought were possible, but we still have a lot planned to make Chasing Safety even better!

I'd like to give a massive shout out to our website designer Chris Buckley, everyone at the Camden Underworld, all the people who we have worked with, all the bands we have met and hung out with and of course, all the music lovers who come to the site and make everything worthwhile!

Have a great Christmas and New Year - we'll see you on the other side.

SaidMike
After a year that saw the release of their debut EP ‘Stop The Clocks’ and tours all over the UK with the likes of Kids In Glass Houses and The Blackout, SaidMike end 2008 on a (Ding Dong Merrily on) high with a download single packed with festive fun! ‘It’ll be Fine at Christmas Time’ will be released through Xtra Mile Recordings on 22nd December!

The Irrepressibles
As The Irrepressibles continue to collaborate with international artists bringing to fruition the unique, often landmark, live performances. They have gone as far as to collide the worlds of classical orchestration, couture fashion & sonic experimentation.

Since having played Latitude festival this year, The Irrepressibles release a 7 track CD/DVD package “From the Circus to the Sea” in collaboration with ‘backwards motion’ film maker and winner of the IMZ best choreography on screen award - Shelly Love. This will become avaliable on 12th January 2009!

New media coming soon!
Very soon we will be posting a lot more video interviews with the likes of Finger Eleven, Bayside, I Am Ghost, The Gaslight Anthem and others.

Chasing Safety's film crew will also be down at the Borderline next week to provide exclusive live videos from The Ghost of a Thousand and at the Water Rats where Johnny Truant will be playing their last ever London show!

I Am Ghost!
Currently on tour in Europe and along with the release of their new single 'Bone Garden', released on 8th December, I Am Ghost have released their first ever acoustic session.

New Thursday penned for Feb 09 release
On 17th February 2009, Thursday will release their 5th full length album 'Common Existence'. The record which was produced by Dave Friddman, will be released through Epitaph Records.

New B9 signing
Defeater have signed to Bridge 9 Records. B9 will be re-releasing 'Travels' on CD internationally as well as the vinyl edition in conjunction with Topshelf Records on February 24th 2009. Make sure to check out this amazing band on myspace.

Blackmarket Extreme!
Blackmarket's debut album 'The Elephant in the Room' is set to be released on Monday 10th November. These guys have recently played alongside the Subways and are sure to start something new!
